We are proud to offer the pottery of Washington Native Mike Cummins. Mike is part of a legendary Pacific Northwest family that includes his brothers Matt and Temple. All of them are accomplished snowboarders, surfers skateboarders and artists. Members of the family have won the Mt Baker Banked Slalom pro division multiple times, held the world record for number of X Games medals won by a female, and has the longest running pro snowboard model ever, going on 30 years. The whole family, including the parents, ran 3 stores in the Tacoma/Olympia area for a quarter of a century.
Not only does Mike own his own share of snowboard awards, but Mike Cummins is an incredible ceramic artist. He has been commissioned by several municipalities to do public custom ceramic installations. Mike’s work has been seen in museums and, for fun, his custom ceramic tiles adorn a few public skateparks (Forks and Glacier, WA) Mike is a true artist and does not have an interest in marketing or internet sales. We are the ONLY place you can get Mike’s pottery online as he prefers to sell only to people "he can share a beer with".
